So as you can see we have been extremely lazy with the blog but we both have been busy. i have been making beats and working on my upcoming mix tape titled I Love Japan and speaking of CDs my long long over due cd of the week is here! its Linkin Park's Reanimation. this is possibly one of the most creative CDs ever. they took their entire first album and remixed it with features on ever song dividing it up into half rap and half rock and all the songs even thou remixed sound completely different and most of them have new lyrics, these r not just lazy remixes they are all new songs. one of my favortie sons on the cd if not my favorite mixes alota of element such as rap, house, metal, and a lil bit of screamo, check it out and i promise to keep the blog updated more

so i kno i promised a linkin park week and ive been a lil lazy so i will do them justice another week sum where in the future. any way check this out both lead singes for linkin park have side projects. mike shinoda aka fort minor put out a cd THE RISING TIED and had big features from the likes of common, john leganed, black thought, and SOB. Chester bennington also has a side project that was kown as snow white tan but changed the name to dead by sun rise and hasnt yet released a cd. but with that said i say fuck it and lets put em head to head more or less to show u what they sound like. bith of these songs are commentary on the music industry.

REVENGE OF THE FALLEN

YO YO YO summer is right around the corner and that means its movie season. so far we got X MEN, STAR TREK, ANGELS AND DEMONS, and TERMINATOR. so far out of those four terminator was my favorite but i recommend seeing all of them. so its been a good way to jump into summer and we still have at least two more big ones coming out G I JOE and the movie im most hyped for this year TRANSFORMERS 2. i just seen the new trailer for transformers and WOW its fuckin amazing. also my favorite band Linkin park is doing the lead song and i heard they were put in charge of the sound track so it should be full of good shit. this has also inspired me to do a linkin park week on the blog. so for now check out the trailer and enjoy. HE'S BACK!!!!!!!!!!! SH-SH-SH-SHADY!!!!!!!!!!!!! EMINEM IS BACK my favorite music artist ever!!!!! after four long years since his last solo he returned earlier this week to drop his long awaited 5th cd. of course im going to be bias cuz he is my favorite but its defiantly worth a listen from beginning to end so u all can come up with your own thoughts. all i can say is this is his darkest cd ever! almost all the songs are Slim Shady. it has every thing u expect from a eminem cd - skits/lryics/dre beats... every thing. and a part two or second cd is promised to us in his last skit on the cd. my favorite song on the cd is beautiful. kinda reminds me of sing for the moment. anyway i realized i rambled a bit but i hope u get the point on this one. go pick up RELAPSE and enjoy. peace!

im not a big fan of radio these days but there are some good stations out there and in Chicago we have/had wnua 95.5 a smooth jazz channel (chicagos only one of its kind as far as i know). it was a great staton with very easy listing music and a very popular morning dj. now 95.5 has fliped into a spanish radio station. aperntly it just sold out and changed formats over night.this marked a sad day in chicago radio put also brings up an issue. how close is a city like chicago coming to speaking both english and spanish and i mean having to know both to surive in the city. as of now i have seen at least 4 commericals in spanish outside of the spsnish channel. hmmm alot of ppl would say no spanish will never over take english in america but most ppl dont realize that america has no offical language and it seems to be embracing spanish more and more everyday. during the nba season i knoticed teams like the mavs and the spurs had jerseys that were in spanish. now im not against the growing numbers of latinos in the states but i wanna kno your thoughts on the matter. peace

My album of the week, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Honestly (hold on lemme caps lock this) HE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST ARTIST FROM THE CHI AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF HE KNOWS IT YET. HE GOES BY THE NAME OF OMEN. THIS WAS HIS FIRST MIXTAPE HE PUT OUT. IT'S CALLED "DO THE RIGHT THING". THIS WAS TRUE HIP HOP. A CLASSIC MIXTAPE IN MY EYES. HE HAD FEW FEATURES. ACTUALLY THE ONLY OTHER RAPPER FEATURED ON THIS MIXTAPE J.COLE WHO IRONICALLY IS CURRENTLY SIGNED TO JAY-Z'S ROC NATION. EVER HEARD OF THAT SAYING ABOUT BIRDS OF A FEATHER? THIS MIXTAPE WAS VERY HOT, VERY HIP HOP, I BEGGED OMEN (AKA MY MENTOR) 4 A FEATURE ON THIS MIXTAPE. BUT BY THE TIME I ASKED HIM HE HAD FINISHED RECORDING. BUT TRUST WE HAVE TRACKS ON THE WAY..SOON SOON...BUT CHECK THIS OUT THO PEACE. PLUS THE ARTWORK ON THE COVER WAS HOT..IGHT PEACE 4REAL THIS TIME.LOL

Naga's Album of the week

This one from one of my top 3 favorite artist. it just dropped Tuesday and i think EVERYONE should check it out. Utada Hikaru's THIS IS THE ONE. its her second American cd. her last one was in 04 and didnt sell well but this one is great. for those of you who dont kno who she is, she has done both songs for kingdom hearts 1 and 2, is japans most successful artist ever(ironical shes American born), and sings in both perfect English and Japanese. what does she sound like??? well to me she sounds like a pop/ r&b artist with her own style. this album is way better than her last one exodus which she worked with timberland on. shes also done songs with foxy brown and ne-yo so its easy to see she fits in on the r&b side easily. this cd not only has 10 new songs but also has the 3 kingdom hearts songs she has done. its a great cd i just cant say it enough so check out the music video and tell me what u think or just go cop it. only thing if i had to say a bad thing abut the cd i would just wish she had a really good slow jam and i would say a 2 songs didnt really catch my ear but they are songs for the ladies but i dont think there bad just not my style. over all great cd gets 9/10 easily




just so u kno im not really a fan of the video cuz she looks so old just doesn't seem to fit the song imo but enjoy. peace
